Cogeneration plant design

We design gas-engine combined heat and power plants for industry, utilities and communities: from the power evacuation scheme and grid connection to the thermal part, automation and site layout. Our largest project in this field is six units with a combined 19.8 MW in Odesa.

What the design covers

Electrical part

Power evacuation scheme, connection to 6–35 kV grids, protection and automation, electricity metering.

Thermal part

Heat recovery for space heating, hot water or process needs, with trigeneration where required.

Gas supply

Gas connection to the plant, taking into account network pressure and the distance to the tie-in point.

Site layout

In an existing building or as a containerised modular unit on site.

Cost estimate and price analysis

Cost-estimate documentation in AVK-5 and a price analysis report for the state e-construction system (EDESSB).

Approvals and state review

Approval by the distribution system operator, registration in EDESSB, support through to a positive state review report.

CHP design questionnaire

Fill in what you know: empty fields are fine. Based on this we will give you a timeline and a price for the design.

1. General information
Region and address of the site
2. Power supply and operating modes
Required / existing electrical demand, kW or MW
Load profile (flat, fluctuating, any pronounced peaks and dips)
Voltage level at the connection point
Planned operating mode of the CHP plant
3. Fuel supply (gas)
Is there a gas pipeline nearby
Approximate distance to a possible tie-in point, m
Gas pipeline pressure
4. Heat and cooling
Is heat recovery from the CHP plant planned
What the heat will be used for
Is trigeneration (cooling) required
If yes, what the cooling is for (air conditioning, equipment cooling, process cooling)
5. Equipment location
Where will the CHP plant be installed
Is there a free site for installation
6. Documents you can provide now
